R4FL

After 48 days without running, I didn't think that I would be able to run 2.5 miles at Steady Pace (i.e., 5 mph), but I did. Good start.

During the off days I will try to do some High Intensity Training. Nothing crazy, one or two sets. We'll see.

Catching Up

Completed first 2 sessions of R4FL program (2.5 miles at 5mph)
Competed first 2 sessions of "7" High Intensity Training (Just one cycle)
Played second session of NL Holde'm at Winstar. Booked a $227 win, which puts me at plus $1,009.

HIIT

Make that three sessions of 7. This time I went with the standard 10 seconds of recovery, instead of the 30 that I was taking before. Finished completely out of breath, but made it.

I need something I can do at home that doesn't take as damn long as P90x.

Why not just do the p90x plyo? I've never done it, but just started doing plyo, dabbling in Insanity/making it up as I go along. I'm sold. Shit almost killed me the first time. I've heard good things about T25.

Plyo's the worst. Maybe better now that we have carpeted floors... Maybe I'm just too old for plyo now...lol.

I remember liking the Kenpo and Yoga one though - the Yoga one was epic long though iirc. I just need to get out the DVD's and check them out again so I can refresh my memory.

Yoga was 1.5 hours. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Plyo was the easiest for me.

Running 3-4 times a week for ~30 minutes at 5mph, and this circuit 3-4 times a week.

Very difficult to allocate more time than this while on the road, and have found that this works for me, so I'll stick to it thru March.
