It probably isn't viable because of fucking zoo unless they print that merfolk I was talkin about in the rumor thread. I can't beat that deck consistently even in Legacy with 4 submerge, and the extended version is almost exactly the same.
Have you tested scotty? I imagine you can race them with them taking so much damage from their lands unlike the legacy version.

I've definitely played the matchup a lot on modo (Classic) and it's usually not very racy. If I build a force up without a reej they can just leave a guy back that i'd be forced to edict into and wait to draw burn out of it.

The classic version is so depressingly exactly like the extended version. Maybe this U 1/1 and some white cards will be enough to balance the matchup out. Let's be honest, I'm already like 80+% to run merfolk, that deck has made me doubt science a little I get so lucky with it.

Pretty sure I will be white for path/sygg maybe some enginereed explosives. 4 Ancestral Vision allows for a lot more controlling cards in the deck because I can just live to resolve one and then get around to killing them...and I'm hoping I can force of will some turn 1 nacatls that they were counting on. Spell snare is also real real solid against zoo.

Very well might be. I mentioned 2-4 shoals, 2-4 snare, I just hate counterspells that are dead sometimes even if they're already in hand (cuz c-spells are already dead sometimes when you td them behind), especially in big numbers because you can just get destroyed by the dead cards.

But 2cc completely rules extended, it's probably a 4 of.

It must have taken about 100 attempts to actually hit that shot. Still really impressive if you have ever seen kyle field.

The video looks pretty legit. They have multiple angles and the reactions seem genuine.
