We can't all be overweight 40 year olds that mow lawns. Some of us are in shape 20-somethings what a drag.

In-shape is a a little bit off in your case from the last time I saw you. I mean, it was very difficult not to see you.

Man, I totally typed out a response to that. Must have clicked something other than "Submit", sorry.

You must have been looking at the before picture, I was sub-180 for the final picture. Peak was 263 I think, and I'm 6'. I hold my weight kind of all over, so I never have a super huge gut or anything, just bigger arms, bigger legs, etc. Exaggerated posture for the before picture. (More epic cheatz, obv... )

WOW. 263!!!! That's more than 35 BMI which is Obesity 2 if I'm not mistaken.
Congrats again on the huge change in lifestyle for the better.

No cheats at all in what you did by the way, just extremely hardcore. AS,B!

BMI? That statistic is so ridiculous though, right? Like I'll be totally "obese" when I amp up the muscle because muscle weighs more than fat, but if my body fat % is 7, I'm not going to Weight Watchers anytime soon, regardless of where I fall on the BMI scale.

Thanks for all the congratulations I am super happy with it, and having more energy to play with the kiddo is all the reward I needed.

True. BMI is a good measure when starting to lose weight, but once you get near optimal weight, it is much more relevant to think of %fat. A lot of athletes would be considered overweight by BMI standards.

I hear you. That was the precisely the reason that I started exercising and eating healthier, to have more energy to play with the kids.

Cheers,

Blake et al:

Anybody here plays at Area 51?

I just realized that there is a 7pm standard format tournament on Saturday evening, and more importantly, an 11pm Texas Hold'em Tournament.

Anybody can lend me Jeskai Tokens? Happy to rent it for a nominal fee or I can offer to split half of any potential winnings in the poker tournament. No idea of cost for either, I just know it is all for charity.

Let me know.

Cheers,

Not sure, haven't played constructed with real cards in several years. Sorry!

GP announced in Vegas this summer with new Modern Masters set - you interested?

It looks like it is in May, so it might be difficult (planning on playing wsop in July), but if fae is viable, then it would be infy more likely that I play in it.

It's Sealed, and Fae was the UB "archetype" in the last MMA set, so I doubt it.
